Wallace has arrived straight from the classic tale of The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood. This cheesy outlaw of Sherwood Forest is legendary for his generosity in distributing wealth to the poor. Peek into his teacup, you’ll see it’s filled with gold.
Looking at City Hall in Bristol on College Green we have Wallace dressed as a garden gnome as 19. Gnome Sweet Gnome.
He has the beard, the red hat, the blue jacket and green wellingtons so often found on gnomes.
Sitting there with his cup of tea, well it’s not tea but a small fish pond complete with lilies and fish.
It’s the little details that you can often miss, and often the reason for taking photographs to review later. Did you notice the butterfly on his right foot?
