The first time we went to the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studio Tour was in 2015, just after they had added the Hogwarts Express and Kings Cross set to the tour. At the end of November 2019 we made a return visit, mainly to see how different it was dressed for Christmas and with snow.
There are lots of costumes and props in the tour and you can spend ages looking at the attention to detail and if you rush you will miss stuff.
I have used Jus-Rol puff pastry in the past and have been pleased with the results, so I was intrigued to see their gluten free puff pastry and wondered what it would be like to use.

This is one of a set of Turkish hand painted bowls that we bought at the German Christmas market in Bristol (as one does).
Marylebone was for me for many years a place on the Monopoly Board, take a trip to Marylebone Station, if you pass Go, collect £200. It was only after having to travel to London a lot for work that I realised that Marylebone was more than the station and was an actual place in London.
The Helicopter Museum in Weston-super-Mare has you might expect a lot of helicopters on display. In the grounds though is a Bristol Bloodhound SAM.
I do like the Coffee #1 chain of coffee shops. The first one I ever went to was in Monmouth when I went there for lunch one day, when I was working in the Forest of Dean. More recently one has opened in Weston-super-Mare, where this photo was taken. I like the style of the decor and the coffee is pretty good too.

The Gryffindor dorm and common room were dressed for Christmas with a tree, decorations and presents.
Gryffindor is one of the four Houses of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was founded by Godric Gryffindor. Gryffindor instructed the Sorting Hat to choose students possessing characteristics he most valued, such as courage, chivalry, and determination, to be sorted into his house. The emblematic animal is a lion, and its colours are scarlet and gold.

The pillboxes were constructed to protect the airfield, RAF Weston-super-Mare, which was a Royal Air Force station on a civilian airfield in Weston-super-Mare. The civilian airfield was taken over by the RAF on the 1st May 1940 and would remain there until 1993.
Today I was in Leeds for the ALT Learning Spaces Special Interest Group. Some interesting presentations and a great workshop activity. Some really useful conversations as well.
